I just created my first wiki! Whew, what a lot of fun! I set it up for my family for Christmas lists etc. It will be interesting to see their reactions and if indeed they will use it.
If anyone has any great, creative tips either for the wiki or other tools that work in communicating with people for free let me know!

That's a good idea. I hope your family uses it. I've set up a wiki for a group of friends and I'm finding that some people really get into it, and some people still email their stuff to ME to put on the wiki. There's definitely a learning curve for some and varying degrees of comfort.
